I was working at the NEC in Birmingham, I was working on a project for worlskills in a team of 3. the task we were given was to make a promo video for worlskills uk. my role in this team was to be a camera operator. when I was working on this I was shooting interviews and gathering cutaways(Footage that works with what the interviewee is talking about) using a DLSR camera. My role there revolved around interacting and filming members of the public. One of the problems that I encountered was with the lighting in the NEC halls, it was very uneven over the whole show floor, what I did to counter this was change the white balance depending on the lighting in the environment. the result of me doing this was that the footage was easier to grade in post as the footage was all colour correct. what I learned from this was to always check the shot no matter what . what I would do differently is use lights to make the lighting even on the people I am shooting.

I was working springboardTV in Kings Lynn, the project was for the river trust. I was working creating a seasonal promotional piece, for this piece I was working in a 5 person team, my role in the job was secondary camera operator. I was working on this piece using a Panasonic video camera and DSLR camera . I also worked with audio. The mains parts of this piece was interviews so I had to make sure the audio was clear and crips. We was working on location on a empty field so I had to make sure the mic where not picking up to much wind, what I did to combat this was use both a shotgun mic and LAV mic, another way I improved the audio was by sheltering the LAV mic from the wind by using the Interviewees jacket, this also hid the mic. What I learnt from this was to never overlook the simple ways of fixing a problem on location. What I would have done differently is move to a different location where the wind wasn't as strong but If the shot list says it needs to be shot that way I would pack more audio recorders so the editors can have more of a selection of audio files.

I was working a multi camera production at the college of west anglia in kings Lynn, my role in this job was as the director, I had worked with a team of 3 crew members and 2 cast members. The piece that I was directing was a teleshopping advertisement, For this project I had to make sure the crew and cast all new what they were doing before the test shoot so it could be as effective as it could. What I donut by working on this project was that I struggled to explain the ideas with words but I was good at showing them. so what I did to get around this problem was by talking to people individually so each crew member knew what there role was and schedule for the shoot. After doing this the crew and cast worked together to create a successful piece but what I learned was that I had to work on this area although I had found a way to get the job done. What I would have done differently is look over all aspects and talk to someone about the idea before talking to the crew about so I could explain the idea clearly. On projects after this where I wasn't directing I found this skill has worked well for improving overall team work.

this allows the separate audio frequencies to be more prominent among the other sound in the audio piece. When i was working on this window i was trying to create  a wave with the adjusters as audio works in waves this allows the audio to remain level and not have any frequencies that aren't balanced. This window allows the user to altre the frequencies adjusting the allowing the sound to alter depending on the wave form. This is teh audio clip i have been working on and i have been altering this to sound mroe clear and sound the same as the other audio in the track.
